STORER, John Wilson, a Representative from Washington County; born, January 1798 in Forward Township, Allegheny County, Pa.; farmer; proprietor, boat building and merchandising business; proprietor, The Neutral Ground (1839-1840); postmaster, United States Postal Service, Finleyville (1840-1841); elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1843 term; engaged, real estate; unsuccessful campaign, council, Monongahela City (1854); grand juror, Washington County (1854); died, February 6, 1879 in Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
