LIVINGSTON, Samuel, a Representative from Washington County; merchant; secretary, Washington County Anti-Masonic Party (1836); elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1840 and 1842; director, Pittsburgh and Steubenville Railroad Company (1849-1851); postmaster, United States Postal Service, Florence (1861-1872); died, March 26, 1885 in Florence, Washington County, Pennsylvania; interred, Florence Cemetery, Florence, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
