KERR, Aaron, a Representative from Washington County; born, June 4, 1776 in Sussex County, NJ; merchant; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1819); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1824-1825 term; reelected to the House for the 1825-1826, 1826-1827, 1827-1828 and 1828-1829 terms; elected, delegate, Pennsylvania Constitutional Convention (1837); elected, delegate, Democratic State Convention (1837); reelected to the House as a Whig for the 1841 term; died, May 1, 1854 in Cross Creek, Washington County, Pennsylvania; interred, Cross Creek Cemetery, Cross Creek, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
