LETHERMAN, Dr. Jonathan, a Representative from Washington County; A.M., Jefferson College; M.D., Jefferson Medical School (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College); trustee, Jefferson College (1823-1837); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1839); elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1841 term; died, April 9, 1844 in Chartiers Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania; interred, Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
