SEIBERT, Samuel, a Representative from Franklin County; born, October 2, 1800 in Baltimore, Baltimore County, Md.; carpenter and builder; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1847 and 1848; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1849); vice president, Whig County Convention (1852); died, April 19, 1874 in Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Cedar Grove Cemetery, Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
