SNIVELY, Andrew J., a Representative from Franklin County; born, June 30, 1792 in Antrim, Franklin County, Pa.; second sergeant, Baltimore City Defense Troops, United States Army (August 24, 1814-September 23, 1814, War of 1812); farmer; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1841 and 1842 terms; reelected to the House for the 1845 term; died, August 16, 1850 in Antrim, Franklin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
