WALTER, Jacob, a Representative from Franklin County; farmer; elected, commissioner, Franklin County (1830-1832); elected, Democratic County Committee (1830-1838); elected, delegate, Democratic County Convention (1841, 1845); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1842.
