BIGELOW, Dr. Lebbeus Loomis, a Representative from Fayette and Westmoreland Counties; born, April 5, 1799 in Ballston Spa, Saratoga County, NY; physician; elected, delegate, Pennsylvania Constitutional Convention (1837-1838); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1843); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1851, 1852 and 1853 terms; died, February 10, 1854 in Adamsburg, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Brush Creek Cemetery, Irwin, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
