GRUITZA, Michael C., a Representative from Mercer County; born in Sharon, Mercer County, Pa., May 2, 1951; graduated, Kennedy Catholic High School, 1969; B.A., Gannon College, 1973; J.D., Ohio Northern University, 1977; attorney; board director, Mercer County Community Action Agency; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1980; reelected to serve 12 consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House (2006).
