DONALDSON, Montgomery, a Representative from Cumberland County; born, 1812 in Pennsylvania; captain, 23rd Regiment, Pennsylvania Militia; merchant; unsuccessful campaign, sheriff, Cumberland County (1849); elected as a Whig and American to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1854; elected, delegate, Whig County Convention (1854).
