CRISWELL, George W., a Representative from Cumberland County; born, 1810 in Adams County, Pa.; farmer; elected, justice of the peace, Camp Hill (35 years); elected as a Whig and American to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1854; unsuccessful campaign, associate judge, Cumberland County (1866); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1874); died, September 5, 1881 in Camp Hill, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Camp Hill Cemetery, Camp Hill, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
