NOBLE, Armstrong, a Representative from Cumberland County; born, May 18, 1809 in Pennsylvania; colonel, Carlisle Cavalry Troop, Pennsylvania Militia; farmer; director, Union Fire Company (1836); elected, council, Carlisle; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1846; elected, burgess, Carlisle; died, April 2, 1874 in Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Old Graveyard, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
