Knox; lawyer (1843-1902); appointed, Deputy Attorney General, Tioga County (1849-1850); appointed, District Attorney, Tioga County (1851); elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1851 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1852 term; assistant assessor, Department of Internal Revenue, Iowa; justice of the peace, Monticello; died, June 27, 1902 in Monticello, Jones County, Iowa; interred, Oakwood Cemetery, Monticello, Jones County, Iowa.
