KILBOURN, John M., a Representative from Clinton, Lycoming and Potter Counties; born, January 30, 1816 in Wellsboro, Tioga County, Pa.; major, 45th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1861-1862, Civil War); lumberman; farmer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1851 and 1852; elected, secretary, Potter and Tioga County Republican Convention (1863); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1865); elected, delegate, Potter County Republican Convention (1866); tavern keeper; elected, auditor, Pike Township (1890); died, November 26, 1899 in West Pike, Potter County, Pennsylvania; interred, West Pike Cemetery, West Pike, Potter County, Pennsylvania.
