HODGSON, Mark A., a Representative from Chester County; born, October 5, 1793 in New London Township, Chester County, Pa.; farmer; elected, delegate, State Anti-Masonic Convention (1835); appointed, justice of the peace (1838); trustee, New London Academy; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1854; elected, delegate, State Whig Convention (1857); died, July 23, 1868 in Oxford, Chester County, Pennsylvania; interred, New London Presbyterian Church Cemetery, New London Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
