CORREY, William K., a Representative from Chester County; born, 1788 in Pennsylvania; private, Capt. William Steele’s Company, First Brigade, Pennsylvania Militia (1814, War of 1812); farmer; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1838-1839 and 1841 terms; reelected to the House as a Democrat for the 1842 term; died, May 10, 1877 in New London Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania; interred, New London Presbyterian Church Cemetery, New London Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
