WATERBURY, Isaac S., a Representative from Dauphin County; born, January of 1820 in New York, NY; second lieutenant, 2nd Regiment, Cameron Guards, Pennsylvania Militia (1846-1848, Mexican War); first lieutenant and adjutant, 2nd Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1861, Civil War); captain, Company G, 55th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1861-1864); tailor and clothing merchant; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1851); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1852); died as a result from battle during the Civil War, May 8, 1864 in Bermuda Hundred, Chesterfield County, Virginia; interred, Harrisburg Cemetery, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
