DUNCAN, Dr. Thomas, a Representative from Dauphin County; born, December 17, 1814 on Duncan’s Island (now Reed Township), Perry County (now Dauphin County), Pennsylvania; physician; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1848 and 1849; died, February 28, 1879 on Duncan’s Island, Reed Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Duncannon Presbyterian Cemetery, Duncannon, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
