FRY, Joshua A., a Representative from Carbon and Lehigh Counties; born, January 16, 1810 in Pennsylvania; graduated, Nazareth Hall, boarding school, 1823; engaged, real estate; elected, delegate, Democratic State Convention (1847); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1856 term, not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1857 term; died, March 7, 1859 in Upper Saucon, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Paul’s Blue Church Cemetery, Coopersburg, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
