WORRELL, Charles S., a Representative from Centre and Clearfield Counties; born, December 17, 1810 in Frankford (now Philadelphia), Philadelphia County, Pa.; colonel, Pennsylvania Militia; laborer, farmer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1846 and 1847 terms; elected, auditor, Clearfield County (1861); elected, commissioner, Clearfield County (1868); died, August 9, 1879 in Chest Township, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
