STRUBLE, Jacob, a Representative from Centre County; born, January 19, 1795 in Northumberland County (now Union County), Pa.; farmer; appointed, justice of the peace (1854); elected as an American to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1856 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1857 term; died, October 12, 1874 in Zion, Centre County, Pennsylvania; interred, Zion Cemetery, Zion, Centre County, Pennsylvania.
