SHULL, Noah J., a Representative from Bucks County; born, December 4, 1811 in Milford Township, Bucks County, Pa.; farmer; United States patent holder, cultivator (1836); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1851, 1852, 1853 terms; appointed, inspector, Collector of Customs, Philadelphia (1853); board president, The Farmers’ Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Princess Anne and Norfolk Counties, Va. (1875); died, December 15, 1888 in Seaboard District, Princess Anne County (now, Virginia Beach), Virginia; interred, Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk City, Norfolk County, Virginia.
