WATTLES, Arunah, a Representative from Bradford County; born, February 9, 1795 in Unadilla, Otsego County, NY; farmer; lumberman; justice of the peace, Rome, Pa.; elected, auditor, Bradford County (1 term); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representative for the 1848 and 1849 terms; died, September 16, 1853 in Rome, Bradford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Rome Cemetery, Rome, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
