MAGEHAN, Michael Daniel, a Representative from Cambria County; born, January 14, 1805 in Loretto, Cambria County, Pa.; laywer (1827-1864); Deputy Attorney General, Cambria County (1829); elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1845 and 1846 terms; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1860); died, February 6, 1864 in Ebensburg, Cambria County, Pennsylvania; interred, Old Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg, Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
