LOY, David, a Representative from Bedford County; born, circa 1790 in Bucks County, Pa.; farmer; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1843 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1844 term; laborer; died, November 23, 1861 in Clinton, Clinton County, Iowa; interred, Davenport City Cemetery, Davenport, Scott County, Iowa.
