HUNTER, Samuel, a Representative of Northumberland County, born, December 25, 1807 in Augusta Township, Northumberland County, Pa.; farmer; delegate, Whig State Convention (1844); elected, delegate, Northumberland County Whig Convention (1846); elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1847 term; died, July 3, 1852 in Sunbury, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Hunter Cemetery, Sunbury, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.
