WICKERSHAM, Henry N., a Representative from Montgomery County; born, November 3, 1826 in Chester County, Pa.; private, Mulligans’ Independent Company, Delaware Calvary (1864, Civil War);  employed, nursery; coal merchant; farmer; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1855 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1856 term; United States patent holder, improvement in apparatus for obtaining and applying motive power (1867); proprietor, grist mill; unsuccessful campaign, mayor, Wilmington, De. (1875); died, March 3, 1902 in Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware; interred, Wilmington and Brandywine Cemetery, Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware.
