NOBLE, Lewis C. J., a Representative from Allegheny County; born, 1804 in Pennsylvania; engaged, real estate, Lewis Noble & Co.; delegate, Allegheny County Anti-Masonic Convention (1830); proprietor, Allegheny Steam Boat Yard and Steam Saw Mill; farmer; elected, delegate, Democratic Anti-Mason State Convention (1838); unsuccessful campaign, judge, Peebles Township (1845); elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1847 and 1848; died, November of 1858 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint Mary Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
