RIDDLE, John, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, January 25, 1796 in Pennsylvania; farmer; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1841); elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1844; elected, vice president, Democratic State Convention (1858); died, May 7, 1876 in Robinson Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Montour Cemetery, Oakdale, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
