BRENNEMAN, Lewis, a Representative from Armstrong County; born, September 3, 1803 in Sewickley, Westmoreland County, Pa.; merchant; inn keeper and tavern owner; elected, secretary, Democratic State Convention (1840); postmaster, United States Postal Service, Freeport (1845-1847); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1848 term; died, October 9, 1854 in Freeport, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania; interred, Freeport Cemetery, Freeport, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania.
