HILL, Jacob, a Representative from Armstrong County; born, August 15, 1802 in Westmoreland County, Pa.; merchant; owner, Jacob Hill & Co., salt manufacturing (1836-1854); elected, school director, Allegheny Township (now, Parks Township); justice of the peace, Allegheny Township; elected as an Independent Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1843 term; reelected to the House as a Democrat for the 1844 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1845 term; farmer; engaged, construction; died, July 25, 1876 in Allegheny Township (now, Parks Township), Armstrong County, Pennsylvania; interred, Parks Family Cemetery, Kiskimere, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania.
