CORNYN, Augustus Kincaid, a Representative from Huntingdon County; born, 1816 in Perry County, Pennsylvania; merchant (1837-1838); attorney (1840-1855); elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1849 and 1850 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1851 term; unsuccessful campaign, judge, Pennsylvania Supreme Court (1854); died, September 4, 1855 in New Bloomfield, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
