McWILLIAMS, Jonathan, a Representative from Huntingdon County; born, June 3, 1797 in Franklin Township, Huntingdon County, Pa.; blacksmith; owner, axe factory; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1843 and 1844 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1845 term; appointed, associate judge, Huntingdon County (1851); elected, associate judge, Huntingdon County (1851-1856); farmer; died, September 2, 1870 in McVeytown, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Graysville Cemetery, Graysville, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.
