BREIDENTHAL, John Henry, a Representative from Blair County; born, 1784 in Darmstadt, Hessen, Germany; private, United States Army (1813, 1814, War of 1812); farmer; appointed, justice of the peace, Woodberry Township (1815-1819); elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1847 and 1848 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1849 term; died, November of 1868 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg, Blair County, Pennsylvania.
