KINKEAD, Charles Edwin, a Representative from Blair County; born, April 7, 1813 in Yellow Springs, Huntingdon County, Pa.; elected, judge, Morris Township, Huntingdon County (1845); appointed, auditor, Blair County (1847); farmer; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1850 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1851 term; elected, member, Board of Education, Scott County, Ia. (1858); died, September 28, 1878 in Davenport, Scott County, Iowa; interred, Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport, Scott County, Iowa.
