MAGUIRE, James, a Representative from Blair and Huntingdon Counties; born, 1818; merchant; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1854 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1855 term; sand manufacturer; died, October 15, 1879 in Mapleton Station, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania; interred, Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.
