LINDERMAN, John Frederick, a Representative from Berks County; born, January 12, 1826 in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; private, Company B, 108th Regiment, 11th Pennsylvania Volunteer Cavalry (1864, Civil War); farmer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1854; unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania Canal Commissioner (1857); store clerk; died, November 28, 1892 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Shenkel United Church of Christ Cemetery, North Coventry Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
