SMITH, Dr. William, a Representative from Beaver County; born, January 6, 1811 in Allegheny County, Pa.; attended, Beaver Academy; physician; elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1849 and 1850 terms; died, July 5, 1871 in Enon Valley, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania; interred, Reformed Presbyterian White Church Cemetery, New Galilee, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.
