HAMILTON, Samuel, a Representative from Beaver, Butler and Lawrence Counties; born, 1799 in Pennsylvania; laborer; elected, commissioner, Beaver County (1845-1846); elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1851 and 1852 terms; weighmaster; died, March 17, 1880 in Pennsylvania; interred, Allegheny Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
