CHAMBERLIN, Brown B., a Representative from Beaver, Butler and Lawrence Counties; born, May 22, 1810 in Frelighsburg, Missisquoi County, Quebec, Canada; attended, Lewiston Academy; attended, Buffalo Academy; studied law under Hon. Millard Fillmore (1833-1834); lawyer (1834-1887); editor, Beaver Falls Union and Beaver County Advocate (1838-1839); elected, trustee, Beaver County (1847); presidential appointee, postmaster, United States Postal Service, New Brighton, Pa. (1849-1852); elected as a Whig to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1853 term; reelected to the House for 2 more subsequent terms; gubernatorial appointee, judge, 27th Judicial District (1866); died, March 23, 1891 in New Brighton, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.
