HINE, Alfred, a Representative from Sullivan, Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties; born, circa 1795 in Connecticut; lawyer, land surveyor; elected, surveyor, Wyoming County (1850-1853); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1857 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1858 term; died, June 28, 1868 in Wyoming County, Pennsylvania; interred, Old Brick Church Cemetery, Eaton Township, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania.
