BRANDT, Charles Cox, a Representative from Cumberland and Perry Counties; born, January 20, 1818 in Millerstown, Cumberland County (now Perry County), Pa.; farmer; elected, commissioner, Perry County (1851); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1856 and 1857; chair, Perry County Democratic Committee (1870); died, November 26, 1884 in Greenwood Township, Perry County, Pennsylvania; interred, Millerstown Memorial Cemetery, Millerstown, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
