MOORHEAD, Robert Brown, a Representative from Indiana County; born, February 7, 1815 in Blacklick, Indiana County, Pa.; publisher, Somerset Herald; printer and proprietor, Indiana Register (1840-1846); appointed, enumerator, Pennsylvania western district, United States Census (1850-1851); merchant (1852-1856); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1855 and 1856; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1857); died, December 26, 1858 in Pennsylvania.
