CLEAVER, Hiram, a Representative from Delaware County; born, 1801 in Pennsylvania; blacksmith; farmer; elected, school director (1845 and 1860); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1857 term, not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1858 term; justice of the peace, Radnor Township (1855-1870); died, July 17, 1877 in Easttown Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania; interred, Great Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, Devon, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
