DICKEY, Dr. Ebenezer V., a Representative from Chester County; born, December 15, 1821 in Oxford, Chester County, Pa.; attended, Lafayette College; M.D., University of Pennsylvania, 1844; physician; dairy farmer; faculty, Oxford Femail Seminary; president, Octorara Bank; president, Baltimore Central Railroad Company; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1857 term; died, July 31, 1858 in Oxford, Chester County, Pennsylvania; interred, Oxford Cemetery, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
