MUSSELMAN, John, a Representative from Adams County; born, November 12, 1809 in Adams County, Pa.; major, Pennsylvania Militia; vice president, Adams County Mutual Fire Insurance Company; elected, commissioner, Adams County (1849); farmer; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1856; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1857); died, October 25, 1871 in Adams County, Pennsylvania; interred, Fairfield Union Cemetery, Hamiltonban Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania.
