LAUMAN, Edward Jordan, a Representative from Dauphin County; born, March of 1823 in Middletown, Dauphin County, Pa.; engaged, railroad and bridge construction; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1857; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1858); wine merchant; died, January 19, 1884 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Middletown Cemetery, Middletown, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
