HILLEGASS, Josiah, a Representative from Montgomery County; born, September 10, 1817 in Pennsylvania; farmer and livestock dealer; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1856 term; reelected to the house for the 1857 and 1858 terms; store clerk; died, February 3, 1877 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, New Goshenhoppen UCC Cemetery, East Greenville, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
