CAMPBELL, John Winters, Jr., a Representative from Erie County; born, March 7, 1817 in Edinborough, Erie County, Pa.; farmer; elected, alderman, Erie County (1848); elected, auditor, Erie County (1856-1859); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to serve the 1859 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1860 term; died, October 31, 1887 in Rochester, Olmstead County, Minnesota.
