SCHMITT, Louis Charles, Jr., a Representative from Blair County; born, March 21, 1962 in Altoona, Blair County, Pa.; graduated, Altoona Area High School, 1980; B.A., history and political science, Saint Francis University, 1984; J.D., University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, 1987; attorney; partner, McIntyre, Hartye, Schmitt, and Sosnowski (1993-2018); basketball analyst, Panther247 (2012-present); founder and principal, ADR Solutions (2013-present); founder and principal, Center for Divorce and Dispute Resolution (2015-present); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 2018; reelected to the House for 3 more consecutive terms; resigned from the House, December 31, 2025; elected, judge, Court of Common Pleas, Blair County (2026-present).
